Top 5 Reasons to Invest into Online Yoga Training with Yoga Course
If you have ambitions to be a yoga teacher, you have probably faced the same obstacle as many others do ..time! Yoga teacher training requires a considerable investment in terms of time and taking weeks or maybe even months out of your life may simply not be a possibility.
If that sounds familiar then online yoga teacher training presents a viable alternative to the face-to-face courses that don't offer much in terms of flexibility ..but what are the benefits of online training and can you ever really get the same experience as face-to-face?
Yoga Training - Online benefits vs. Face-to-face
Online training means your course content is delivered via an online platform, this usually means that you can access it via a range of different devices such as your smart phone or laptop at any time anywhere, and you can work around other life commitments like family or business.
The online world provides a very effective forum for learning today, and as a result is an incredibly powerful way to communicate and learn, you really can acquire all the knowledge and understanding that you need to be a fantastic yoga teacher from a course taken online.
Face-to-face yoga teacher training courses can be very structured and you may find yourself carried along at the pace of other students, and so may end up skipping over parts of the training that particularly intrigue you. When you are doing yoga teacher training online there is more time and flexibility to stop and delve deeper into what you find the most interesting, this may not only make you a better yoga teacher but a more knowledgeable one to.
Opting for online yoga teacher training has many benefits that often outweigh the appeal of learning in a face-to-face environment, from being able to adapt the training to your lifestyle, to focusing more on the elements that fuel your passion for yoga. Online training has a lot of advantages that in person courses are rarely every able to offer.
Online Yoga Teacher Training
Due to Covid19 pretty much everywhere you look there’s online yoga teacher training now. This is brand new to the yoga world and wasn’t something that had been considered until Yoga Course approached them before Covid-19 was even a thing - can anyone remember that!?
Let’s got back March 2020 and Covid19 - Yoga Alliance International understood in order for training schools to be able to continue training now and in the future, they needed to support them with having the ability to provide online training, but limited them in terms of the time they were able to do this for. This is why with a lot of offers you see there is a short time limit to complete your training and graduate, unlike the training with Yoga Course where you have a full 12 months to complete training and can extend if required.
With regards to other online training, in fairness this has been a quick turnaround for these yoga schools, who’s content wasn’t in an online format. Trying to get an all-encompassing course where you are not just learning about Sun Salutations and sequencing ...because as important as those things are, to be a competent yoga teacher there are a lot of other key fundamentals. There are sadly some schools that have simply been created to profit from a course developed overnight, due to being able to launch it online because of the Covid19 pandemic. These courses quite often have little to no contact with students, therefore questions and queries are not always responded to, and you're essentially left to your own devices, to learn a subject that has a massive amount of depth to it.

Top 5 Reasons to Invest with Yoga Course
Here are the top 5 reasons why we truly believe we’re the best training provider out there, and if you’re going to learn how to become a confident and competent yoga teacher online, we’re the best choice you can make!
1 - Flexibility
We offer complete flexibility over one whole year!
You set the pace of your learning experience, which means during times where you are really busy with work, or the children have social events you have to take them to, your wife/husband is away on business so you’re doing everything in the home alone - you’re not missing ANYTHING.
A face-to-face Yoga Teacher Training course is set dates, set times, even set locations.
With Yoga Course you decide when you log in to learn, and where you’re logging in from.
If you’re travelling, you can still learn.
If you go away on holiday, you can still learn.
If you’re at home on a Sunday afternoon with some free time ..guess what, you can still learn!
Whenever, wherever - for one whole year.
Payment can be made in one instalment or monthly instalments - whichever suits you better.
2 - Experience
Your lead tutors for training with Yoga Course are Rachel Park, Master Yoga Teacher, and Kelly-Rhian Harris, Senior Yoga Teacher.
Both of these teachers have an extensive background in fitness education. They’re both 500 RYT, and have both learnt from some of the best this industry has to offer, from the likes of Paula Ahlberg of The Wellbeing Warehouse, Byron Bay Yoga Centre, Dylan Werner, Patrick Beach, Jason Crandell, David Swenson and Rachel Brathan.
Each of these individuals have shared their experience, knowledge and skills, and given the answers to so many of the how’s and why’s.
Rachel and Kelly are now able to pass all of this on to their students through their training courses.
3 - Content
The content you will have on any of the courses done via Yoga Course we feel, is beyond what you will find by any other training provider.
The reason our courses are created the way they are, with in-depth information and homework to complete, is because it was designed by yoga teachers, for yoga teachers of the future.
These teachers have years of teaching experience, they have probably faced every question, every injury and every request during a class. They know what it takes and what you need to know.
They also know how learning all of it can sometimes feel overwhelming, so all of our training is broken down into bitesize modules, with training via live webinars where you can ask questions and re-watch however many times you like, pre-recorded informative videos, and written work. We set homework, and our team of dedicated yoga tutors provide personal feedback, correcting, congratulating and encouraging you every step of the way.
Through any of our courses you will gain the confidence and knowledge it takes for you to be comfortable and at ease when you step on that teaching mat for the first time. The knowledge you will take from our courses will stay with you forever, what you will learn about teaching, a yoga lifestyle and yourself, you will have with you on and off the mat.
4 - Support
At Yoga Course we’re a strong group dedicated to support students at all stages of their journey. If you have a homework question, a technical question, a financial question - we have someone on hand to help.
We’re easily contactable and because we truly want you to succeed, we’re happy to help whenever you need us via email, phone or video call.
5 - Community
It’s great to have the support of the qualified, but when you go through the teaching journey it’s a different experience for everyone.
You might not want to share some things with us - and that’s ok! Not everyone is going to be able to relate to your journey, what led you to this point, how much learning you’re doing or even why you’re doing it. You might not have friends or family you can lean on, and as teachers who have gone through all of that themselves, when this course was created it was one of the single most important things to Rachel and Kelly- that they created a community so that everyone had someone.
Our Facebook group is for all of our students, current trainees, graduates and our team. We have students all over the world, so there is always someone somewhere that will be there for you to answer that burning question, or talk through a stumbling block, whatever time of the day or night.
