Once you have completed your 200hr Yoga Teacher Training you are able to register with Yoga Alliance International to become a 200hr RYT. This registration shows to any employer that you have completed your 200hr training with a provider that has met the Yoga Alliance International standard of teacher training and therefore will set you apart from teachers without this registration.

There are many training programmes available to learn how to teach ‘yoga’, but many simply teach you the asanas - the physical postures.

To learn about all that yoga really is would take a lifetime, but even just the basics requires more than what a fast tracked weekend course would offer, and that’s why choosing a training provider certified by Yoga Alliance International is important to the integrity of the yoga teaching profession. So that when students come to a yoga class they are learning from accredited and recognised sources.
